This beautiful family home is located in a little town called Jordaan, a bohemian neighbourhood in the heart of Amsterdam. The renovated warehouse, now turned loft, belongs to Marius Haverkamp, a contractor and interior designer, and Emily Gray, owner and designer of Gray Label, an Amsterdam based children’s brand.
With a mix array of textures, organic notes and a neutral palette of white & grey, this industrial and modern building boasts the right equation to a seamlessly beautiful industrial feel of steel, concrete, brick and timber. The large chandelier above the dining table, made of black clay beads & handmade in Africa is the hero of the open plan kitchen. Emily and Marius wanted to create a home with a simple and personal mantra where their children are able to move freely…and that they did.
